Notre Dame – Bishop Gibbons School is a coeducational, Catholic, Diocesan college preparatory school serving students in grades six through twelve. The school is located in Schenectady/ Niskayuna area and has served that community for over 50 years. Fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, ND-BG serves a diverse ethnic, religious and socio-economic student population from a wide geographical area. Our students have receive the personal attention and care of many devoted faculty and staff members who believe that “learning is a life-long process and that Christian commitment never ceases.”
The Christ-centered environment is rooted in the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and the charisms of the Congregation of Christian Brothers and the Congregation of Notre Dame sisters, the founding orders of the school. The faculty and staff strive to prepare students for both college and life-long learning while challenging students to achieve their highest academic potential and to foster reverence for themselves and others.
