On Friday, Oct. 11, our students will take part in our annual "Golden Gallop Walk for Education" beginning with breakfast in homeroom at 8 a.m. Students will begin the 5k route at 9 a.m., walking through a part of the Woodlawn neighborhood, ending at school and dismissal at 11:15 a.m. Our Golden Gallop goal this year is $25,000. All proceeds from the Golden Gallop remain within the school and are used for student programming. The money brought in from the walk will be deducted from the family fundraising fee and our goal is 100% participation in the day.
Your child will receive three mailers and three envelopes. We are asking that they contact grandparents, aunts and uncles that may be out of the area to help support our school. Please have your child fill out the mailers with an appropriate personal note, address the envelope and bring it back to school. Do not seal the envelopes. All addressed envelopes can be brought to the main office where we will include a self-addressed envelope and will be responsible for mailing. Any unused envelopes please return to the main office. More mailings are available upon request. Students who raise the family fundraising fee by Oct. 31, will receive a monthly dress down from November 2019 to June 2020.
