ND-BG Graduate & Holy Trinity QB Joe Tortello signs letter of intent with UAlbany

When ND-BG graduate Joe Tortello first became the starting Quarterback for the Holy Trinity Pride, local media made the pronouncement: "and a child shall lead them." 

Joe Tortello helped lead Holy Trinity to multiple winning seasons with pride and dignity. Among Tortello's accomplishments include: 

• Section 2 All-Time leader in passing touchdowns (TD’s) 111. 
• All time leader in passing yards (7304) 
• All time leader most TD’s in a season (39). 
• All time leader TD’s in a game (8).

On August 8th, Joe Tortello signed his letter of intent to attend the University at Albany for the Fall of 2020, majoring in business. He will also be playing Quarterback for the Great Danes, ironically wearing the same uniform he wore when the University provided Holy Trinity replacement uniforms after the tragic Field House that occurred during Tortello's High School Freshman Year. 

We are so proud of Joe and the entire Tortello family for this incredible accomplishment.
